Framed Scorpion Heterometrus laoticus (Laos Forest Scorpion)
Professor Plum's collection of carefully-collated specimens, displayed in hardy wood-and glass frames, look amazing on a wall in a study or bedroom.
The Laos Forest Scorpion is common in Laos and Vietnam and is farmed there as a novelty food. Rather than being a lethal toxin, the giant scorpion's venom is paralytic. The venom is distilled into medicines against various kinds of microorganisms.
