The Freeze Drying Process:
Ever wondered, "How is freeze-dried fruit made?" Our freeze-drying process begins by subjecting the fruit to frigid temperatures as low as -40 degrees. They are then placed in a vacuum chamber, where the magic happens. Under reduced pressure, the water content within the fruit sublimates, transforming into vapor. This process is repeated up to 100 times, resulting in the removal of more than 99% of the water. The end result is the perfect crunch that sets our freeze-dried fruit apart.
