Rose Quartz Tumbled Gemstones

Rose quartz is a type of quartz which exhibits a pale pink to rose red hue, this arises from traces of iron and titanium in the quartz. Depending on where the stone was mined, it may also contain trace or fibre inclusions of rutile or a borosilicate similar to dumortierite. This inclusion produces a lovely star or cat's eye like effect in the stone which makes it ideal for use in jewellery.
